Five girls' memorable trip to North Vietnam for seven days in December 2016. It includes Hanoi, Sapa, Fansipan, Trang An and Halong Bay. It was well scheduled by our travel agency company, Eco Travel. Friendly local tour guide brings us visited amazing places. Meals were well prepared and we do not have to worry about the hygiene of foods. Nice experience of overnight in a train from Hanoi to Lao Cai. Special local Sunday Bac Ha Market located at Bao Nhai before heading to Sapa. This season may not be a very good season to visit as harvest season has over and we could not enjoy the rice terrace scenery in Sapa and it was foggy when we visiting Halong Bay. However, because if was cold, we do not feel hot and sweating all the way. In conclusion, it is still an amazing trip.

Very well plan for iterinary. Excellent services and assistance from Ms Anita. Also, our tour guide Mr Quyen is also good. Both are good assets to the company. Will use their services for my next visit to Vietnam.

We had our first family holiday in Vietnam from 17-29 Dec. We first travelled to Hanoi and visited Halong bay from 17-23 Dec.
Then we joined Eco Nature Travel from 23-29 Dec, visiting Dong Hoi, Hue, Hoi An and Danang. I'm very pleased to have Ms Thuy organised the tour package for us from Dong Hoi to Danang. She also helped with our flight bookings from Hanoi to Dong Hoi too, and helped arranged the transport pick up for the last day to airport. She is friendly, very responsive, attentive and followed through the entire tour in making sure everything goes as planned.
It was a pleasant surprise to receive welcome gifts (Trung Nguyen coffee powder with filter) for everyone in the family too.
The lunches included in the tour were tasty and delicious. I'd consider the restaurants relatively higher end with nice surrounding settings e.g. Phong Nha Lake House (Nat Geo actually featured some of their expeditions & tours) in Hung Trach village and Moc View restaurant which serves cuisine in Hue.
While the guide was knowledgeable about the history and places of interests, he didn't really get on too well with my spouse, probably due to cultural differences and language. Overall, however, he was good but does at times seem a bit uptight and not too flexible.
For instance, having known we can ride bikes in Hoi An, we asked Ms Thuy to arrange bicycle rides for us in the ancient city of Hoi An. But later because my daughters were not well and having stomach problems, we had to cancel the bike rides but he seemed adamant that we all have to go through it. Claiming that otherwise we had to pay for the bike booking fees (which we realized later that some hotels rented it for free or $1 a day per bike). However, all issues were nicely resolved after I spoke to Ms Thuy. She is just so helpful and great!
For the places of interests, it was Wow! to see Phong Nha cave, fun time visiting Coconut forest and being entertained by the farmers with hand made coconut leaves head dress, rings and jumping grasshopper! Nice to learn how to make lanterns and get our hands dirty with the pottery making too. We enjoyed Hoi An and Atlas hotel we stayed was a nice boutique hotel. We will probably visit Hoi An again in future.

We booked a 4D3N private tour for 4 with Eco Travel, for Hoian, Hue, Danang. It was our 1st trip, the sighteeing tour, food and lodging were all fantastic! Ms Anita from ECO office was very attentive to details and follow up closely. Tour Guide Ms Nhi provided very good customer service, she was very attentive too. On top of it, we received a bouquet of flowers from Eco travel for one of our guest's birthday, we were very touched by the warm gestures. it truly made our day. We have enjoyed the tour very much and will recommend to our friends to contact Eco Travel for their Vietnam travel needs, thank you Ms Anita and Ms Nhi! You did a great job!
